The baking continues.
At the end of June, here’s what I made:
- No-Knead Bread on 2020-06-05 via Jo Cooks. Made this back in April, where it turned out great. This time, it rose fine overnight, but didn’t have a great rise during the baking and ended up quite dense. Not sure the issue. Will have to try it again.
- Whole Wheat Bread (no knead) in mid-June (forgot exact date) via John Kirkwood. Another yeast baking attempt that started pretty well, but I didn’t get a good rise in the oven, so ended up fairly dense. Tasted okay. I might try to add a bit of all-purpose flour in the future to try and lighten it up a bit. Or I might need to start going towards kneaded breads.
